Molto bene skiing (very good skiing)

These Dolomites are stunning and the timing we've had with fresh snow during the week has been crazy good.

Kids skiing like legends over the kilometres of trails we cover each day. It helps a huge amount that we got hooked up with a couple of skiers who have skied here for 30 years (65-70 year olds) who know everything and everywhere to go - consummate amateur guides and hosts who enjoy the kids and ski at our speed (well, we have to keep up with them!!). They even cruise through the kids jump parks with us. They ski all day and living the dream, something to aim for in a few years time for us. We've covered places we would never had go to without a good deal of map reading and confusion all round!! The Lagazoui cable car a crazy highlight, plus Gigi was stoked to ski the Val Gardena world cup downhill ski run today - certainly not at the speeds the athletes travel at! But the main feature of it all here has been the views from all the passes and peaks we've reached.

One day to go and we'll hit one more new area before aiming for some favourite spots before a scenic drive out to Venice on Saturday and a late flight to London town!!

Ah Venice

overcast 9 °C

Oh how we loved Venice! We trained down to spend the day getting lost on it's streets and waterways. The kids and our eyes and noses were wide open seeing and smelling the uniqueness of Venice. The fish market being cleaned, canals and the boats on them. A gondola ride was amazing being at water level to get a proper feel for the city and it's buildings. We were so lucky that even on a tried and jet lagged day we could take in such sights. Ciao off to the Dolomites today.

From Anthony

sentosa island waterpark,SINGAPORE

sunny 32 °C

On the 12 of January we went to Sentosa waterpark. First we floated down a river called Adventure river on a doughnut. While we were in the river, we saw (in a tank) tropical fish and manta rays. After we had done one lap in the adventure river, we went on a waterslide in a raft with a spiral that turned you backwards when you came out. When we had done two rides on the spiral slide, we went on a fast slide in a raft and some other slides. when we had done all of the slides at least once we swam with tropical fish in a reef. After that, we went on a ropes course above water had a three meter diving board.
